Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Arrive into the Indian capital where you are met and transferred to your Hotel.
Day 02 Delhi
Your morning is at leisure. This afternoon's sightseeing incorporates visits to both Old and New Delhi. Dating to the time of Shah Jahan, Old Delhi is the former Moghul capital. Visit the Red Fort, the vibrant Jama Masjid mosque and Raj Ghat, the memorial to Gandhi. This afternoon tour New Delhi, full of wide tree lined avenues and colonial architecture.
Day 03 Delhi-Samode
Today leave Delhi and travel by road to Samode. Your accommodation is the lavish, early 19th century, Samode Palace. The remainder of your day is at leisure.
Day 04 Samode-Jaipur
Following breakfast drive to the pink city of Jaipur. Visit the Amber Fort, a magnificent fortress palace. Travel up the hillside by elephant, through the gates in time-honored fashion.
Day 05 Jaipur
This morning explore the sights of Jaipur. Visit the rambling City Palace complex, the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) with its intricate exterior lacework and the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Your afternoon is at leisure to further explore.
Day 06 Jaipur-Agra
Drive to the 16th century sandstone fortress of Fatehpur Sikri, an extraordinarily well-preserved Moghul palace city. Continue to Agra with your elegant hotel located only 1km from the Taj Mahal with uninterrupted views from every room. This afternoon visit Agra's Red Fort finishing with a sunset visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal, India's most famous monument.
Day 07 Agra-Delhi
Visit the Taj Mahal again at sunrise when the soft morning light bathes the marble dome and minarets. Return to Delhi in time for your onward flight (B).
